Franklin Electric is bringing all the benefits of its high-performance VR Series Vertical Multi-Stage Pumps paired with premium efficiency TEFC motors and variable frequency drives to a new package: the VR SpecPAK™ Pressure Boosting System.

The Franklin Control Systems brand will be adopting the name of our parent company and transitioning to Franklin Electric.  We feel this better represents our ability to offer system solutions, as Franklin Electric offers pumps, motors, drives, and controls for use in a wide variety of installations

FCS was named Portland’s top manufacturing company of 2019 (51-100 employee category) at the Portland Business Journal Makers and Manufacturers Awards. The award ceremony took place at the Sentinel hotel, where FCS President Travis Wood praised the hard work and dedication of all employees. 

Franklin Control Systems held a charity auction benefiting the United Way of Columbia-Willamette.  Over 30 items were up for auction, with additional funds being raised via a 50/50 drawing.  

Franklin Control Systems has been selected as one of the 2019 Manufacturing Companies of the Year in the 51-100 employee category by the Portland Business Journal.  The Makers and Manufacturers Awards honor companies in Oregon and Southwest Washington for outstanding and innovative practices.  

Last week a group from FCS volunteered at Junior Achievement's BizTown, a simulated community for 4th-6th graders. FCS volunteers oversaw several classes of 5th graders as they ran the show, conducting business and carrying out transactions and projects throughout the day.

Earlier this month, FCS broke out the dunk tanks in an effort to raise funds for the local United Way. It was a fun event for a great cause, as FCS management sacrificed their comfort and dignity to give their fellow employees a chance to dunk them.  

The Franklin Control Systems App  gives you access to the full line of FCS motor controls and corresponding documents. Choose your industry: HVAC or Pump. From there you can register, build quotes, generate submittals, save your favorite products and more. Currently, the app is only available on iOS.
